10 Garments That Are Basic In A Woman’s Closet

Today we are not going to talk about fashion. Today we are going to talk about those basic garments that we should all have in the wardrobe. They are garments that we can resort to when we do not know what to wear and that always make us look good.

At the same time, they are comfortable garments that give consistency and cohesion to the rest of our wardrobe. Not only do they get us out of trouble but they make our clothes look more fashionable. Here at trendy fashion they provide a list of basic garments that cannot be missing in your wardrobe and in your life.

1. Dark blue jeans

My advice is to go for a skinny cut, washed in a dark tone. They never go out of style. They are elegant and rebellious at the same time. You can use them to go to the office, as in a cocktail in the afternoon.

2. White shirt

Perhaps it is the basic garment par excellence. Combine with everything you have in the closet and always looks refined. You can choose one with a classic cut, fitted, or pleated. If you want to add a detail, opt for a version with buttons on the neck.

3. Ballerinas

Also known as ballet flats, these shoes are as comfortable as any shoe but add a certain delicacy to our outfit. They come in various colors. Just choose the one you like best and you’ll have a pair of shoes that you can use for any occasion, whether it’s shopping at the supermarket or going to a work meeting.

4. Jean jacket

The best version is a straight-cut jacket, washed in a classic blue tone. You can use them at any time of the day, with shirts, t-shirts and dresses of any length.

5. Gabardine jacket

It is a classic in every wardrobe. It is very practical for rainy and windy days. They go with both high heels and sneakers. Also, they come in different shades. The most chosen are camel, navy blue and khaki.

6. Muscular

You can wear it alone or as a complement under the shirt. Within the basics of this garment you have different options: more pronounced necks, tight or loose sleeves, with thick or thin straps.

I suggest a light and full color, which you can use both at home and for a casual outing.

7. Blazer

If you’re in a rush and don’t have time to think about what to wear, a safe choice is a dark blazer and white shirt. The blazer has no limits regarding the possible combination. It can be anything from the obvious combination of suit pants (and even a tie) to cargo pants with sneakers.

8. Leggings

Leggings were relegated to home staples or gym class. But for some time now they have been accepted in any other social situation. But for this to work, I suggest that the leggings are dark or neutral in color. And also, although it is a garment that is attached to the body, it should not be seen as if it were a smaller size.

9. Black boots

It is a shoe that goes with everything and will always make you look more stylish. Wear the scotch soda branded boots with skinny pants or a more relaxed fit if you’re on the conservative side, but for a more edgy look, try them with an animal print skirt.

10. Sunglasses

Okay. They are not a garment, but a pair of sunglasses goes with everything and will make you look elegant. If you are classic you can opt for dark or faded crystals, with a veined tortoiseshell frame or black frame. But if you want to go one step further, choose mirrored lenses.
